Hmmmm. Sounds like socialism. What's wrong with making money? What's
wrong with making money on providing a product or service? No one forces
you to do what you do for free, and no one forces anyone to buy from
Max, or Joe, or Bev.

But you jumped right in. With obvious relish. Slinging flames left and
right. Oh, I know your response... if someone does it to me, I give
back. But you weren't the object of Max's post. Only in passing were you
referred to. These flame wars would die out if, from everyone's
perspective, you (meaning everyone) "ignored the ignorant." It's one
thing to defend one's reputation (a moral imperative) it's another to
"defend" by tearing down someone else.

And besides, use of terms like "elitist" or "vogon" are ad hominem
attacks, or in other words, are the last refuge of those who haven't got
the truth or debating skills on their side. If you really want to "win"
then win big by crucifying someone with facts, truth, nor invective or
slurs. I'm disappointed to note that in the above posts, someone who
rightly blasted those who attack Apple developers and promoters with
name calling, then stooped to that level.

It's about time people around here started acting like adults. But that
will never happen if everyone waits for the other guy to do it first.
And that's about as childish are you can get.
