My first recommendation is the Trenco ftp site at:

     ftp://gno.org/pub/apple2

My second recommendation is the Ground ftp site at:

     ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu/2/apple2/

My third recommdation is the Caltech ftp site which used to be at:

     ftp://apple2.caltech.edu/Zocalo/pub/apple2

but I couldn't connect to it just now.

Pretty much all the other sites that will be mentioned to you will be
more than happy to take legit A2 uploads but already contain many
illegit files so people might have a hard time finding any legit files
that might be on there.
