This question seems to get asked quite often recently. Surprisingly
my 2c still has the original power brick. The thing failed on me a
couple of years after I bought it and all that was wrong is the main
leads came loose. Once I resoldered them everything else was fine.
I forget how I open the brick. I think I had to cut it.

Anyhow here is the text from my last post on this.

Well, you're in luck. Most of my //c book was ruined due to flood
damage, but I can read that page.

looking at the back of the computer, you see a 7 pin DIN connector.

   1  7
  2    6
   3  5
     4

1   = not connected
2,3 = Signal ground
4   = Shield ground
5,6 = +15 vdc
7   = not connected

I suggest you check this before connecting anything to make certain
the numbering is correct.

>From the external power connector:

1,7  = not connected
2,3  = Ground - Common electrical ground
4    = Chassis - Chassis ground
5,6  = +15V - +15 volts DC input to converter.

The internal converter then converts the input as follows:

Input voltage         = +9 to +20 VDC
Max Power Consumption = 25 watts
Supply voltages       =  +5v +-5%
                      = +12v +-10%
                      = -12v +-10%

Max Supply Currents   =  +5v @ 1.5 amps
                      = +12v @ 0.6 amps continuous
                             @ 0.9 amps intermittent
                             @ 1.5 amps surge (for < 100 ms)
                      = -12v @ 100 mA
                      =( -5v @ 50 mA)

Max Case Temperature  = 60C (140F)

The 2c uses a switching type internal voltage converter. There is no
listing of which converter connections (output) go to which voltage.
