You can use an Applied Engineering HD drive with that controller too.

You can also connect PC 2.88 MB floppy drives to that card as well but
the drives and the disks are fairly rare.
You missed a third option, though. You can also use a SCSI controller
and hook up a drive that supports 720K and 1.44M floppies. The most
common SCSI drive that supports this is called a floptical.
