While the AE HD drive is a high density drive, I wouldn't
recomend it for several reasons.Sure it's a bit larger than a
1.44mb drive but it loses all the advantages except capacity.
You can't boot off it.
You can only use it with GSOS not 8 bit apps.
You can't swap disks with a Mac or PC since they can't read them
If your drive dies there's nothing else that can recover the data.

If you can find them for $15, grab them. Hooked up to a
Superdrive controller they act like a regular 1.44mb superdrive
The two colour LED for Read/Write is neat, however they do
feel like a cheaper drive
