I don't wish to interact with this dispute, just a question that's been
rolling around in my mind for the last few days. You close your posts
with the same "Cheers" whether you like what someone says, are making an
announcement, or are engaged in a heated dispute. Now, maybe I'm being
picky (my children never think that dad is picky :) but "Cheers" to me
implies a friendly cheerful "till we meet again" or loud support for
someone.

Now, you might not wish to end a post like the one above "With
malevolent feelings", or "Meow", and you might wish to totally ignore
this, but somehow there might be some meaningful closure to differing
posts.
