I know the feeling. To get around this problem I set up some aliases
in the Orca shell on my IIgs. DIR is the same as CAT and CD is the
same as PREFIX. I also created an exec file called CD.. in case I
forget that the Orca shell requires a space between the command and
parameters.
Mind you, this doesn't work in BASIC.SYSTEM but I'm in Orca a lot more
often. :-)
