Mike, it wasn't needed to quote my response to Aaron in your message. I have no
problem with your stance on pirating and the use of Apple IIs as a hobby
machine. I have believed for many years that a bulk of the people complaining
about piracy should look outside and see that it is the year 2000, not 1984.
Apple employees, on the most part, consider the Apple II as ancient history.
They do not support the Apple II and, unless you are trying to use their
hardware design to release a new computer, their legal dept. doesn't have time
to screw around with people passing out their old software titles. As for
Apple software, I have all that I need. I have a PC and a Mac and I'll never
use my GS for browsing the Web or sending e-mail. As far as I know, the only
development that is taking place for the GS is for telecommunications. I could
care less. Do I want a copy of this software? NO! Why use a tin can to
communicate when I have a cel phone? I admire the people who develop new titles
at this stage in the Apple II life span; they're like the Depends makers for
the infirm.
And Mike, as I stated in the post that you quoted, I have no intention of
complaining to your ISP. Language, foul or not, doesn't always cross the line
of decency. Q_C's, on the other hand, do.
