Try the same thing. The other possibility is that you are losing contrast,
but I'm not sure if there is an adjustment for that. Look for an adjustment
labeled "con" or contrast. You might check the faq, too, there is a whole
section on fixing monitors.
Be careful in there, you can get shocked.
