Sheeesh ... leave me out of the flame wars.
But let me maintain this stand, as *ahem* CEO of Treasure Chest Project, and I
believe A2 Delphi's Lost Classics would also maintain the same stance; it is not
compelling enough evidence of a phone call (IMHO) that so-and-so says it is ok.
When you battle it out in a court of law, it is not enough a supporting evidence.
I chose to take 2 preferred options for Treasure Chest Project :
i) A direct email verification from the author / copyright owner where the
email origin
can be sighted.
ii) A verifiable newsgroup annoucement by the author / copyright owner.

Well, not to make things too difficult to anyone, but in the interest of the
Treasure Chest Project or Lost Classics Project, we only maintain verifiable
DISTRIBUTABLE Reclassifed Software.

Certainly, Medley GS is commendable, and it was verified by the copyright
owners that it is such (reclassified freeware software). Certainly, as I echo
again, most of us who do these, are out of love. Treasure Chest Project was born
on a labour of love, and even so, is still being continued that way. Nobody is
forced to be involved in the reclassification race. Neither Treasure Chest Project
or Lost Classics Project will earn profits from it, and it is only that it will
benefit all, and we will not have monetary gain. Both projects are non-commercial
in nature.

You are the existing copyright owner, we will respect your wishes. You will
choose how you want to release the software, how much to charge for it and how you
want to prosecute people for pirating it.
