I used this system until BSR came out with a self contained programmable
controller (which I still use). Basically the TimeMaster system was a IR
generating device about the size of a quarter and 3/4" long. It
connected to the TM with a 2 conductor cable. It was placed in front of
a BSR 16 position controller. You then had to write a BASIC
program...PR#4 (my TM slot) ... at 8:30PM turn on position 12....
At 8:30PM the device would send an IR signal to the 16 position
controller to turn on position 12.
Surprisingly, the first time I called BSR support, they weren't aware of
the TM device!
I thought this was really high tech at the time even though your
computer had to be running the program to make it work. The self
container controller is much better.
