Required a patch and additional software. If Mac can be
considered to have color in the 128/512k days, then the
IIGS can be considered to have SVGA because of the
Second Sight card. But wouldn't it be more reasonable
to say that the Mac didn't have color and the IIGS didn't
have SVGA out of the box?

Required additional software. Like plugging a Second
Sight card into a IIGS and running Second View then
saying the IIGS had SVGA.
