    If you read the website link I gave you you'd understand.  The //e came out
in January 1983, but was proabably designed 12 to 24 months before that.  There
was going to be a Apple IIx, or Super Apple, but it was cancelled.  But the
Mega II was already designed (designed, but not actually made).  So it sat on
the shelf for a while.

   Hey, pay a gunch of computer guys big bucks, in an exciting time like that
and they can design a lot of cool stuff.  But it's up to the upper management
weather or not we get to use it.
