Re: AppleWorks GS and reclassification

I never claimed that Apple Computer, Inc. gave me premission
to upload AWGS, so I have no such message, WITH HEADERS.
Actually I've never uploaded AWGS anywhere on the Internet
 - in any way.

What I said was: that I and many others have contacted Apple
Computer, Inc. to let them know that AWGS was available for
public access and download from several web sites and ftp
sites (as well as AppleWorks for the Apple II computers in
many versions) both now and during the past and they told me

********(by telephone and not by email)*******

they were fully aware of this and had no objections, as they
no longer commercially sold or supported either title for the
Apple II series of computers.

And, I've made it very clear also that they have not done any
reclassification of either AWGS or AppleWorks for the Apple
II computers.

If you and others want to obtain the same information and reply
that I got from them as I've stated above, then fine - go for it.
I'm sure you and others so concerned over both being available for
public access and download online - can find the proper telephone
number to call and discuss it with Apple Computer, Inc.. I had
no problem finding it.

Cheers,
Tom
