My mind has been blown by the fact that this post, subject and thread 
has remained sane and civil up to this point.  Allow me to add my two cents
worth with an observation and hope it doesn't alter the sane and civil quality
expressed so far.

As I see things, the only bad blood in the Apple ][ community today is that
which flows through the veins of those that need it to exist.  My blood is good
and I intent to see that it remain so - forever, just like the Apple ][.
