Hey, I'm not trying to tell you how you should format your files or run
your site, but it's my experience that files containing large amounts of
text (such as pages from a book) usually save better as GIF or TIFF. JPEG
usually ends up wasting space with it's needless dithering of (black and
white) text pages. However, if there is lots of color illustrations, then
JPEG is the way to go. But I'm envisioning a page full of pages of
technical information in text form, and also trying to help those out who
are still in these days using a 28.8 modem and can't afford to download a
200k page of a book...
