The IIgs DSP card that was under development (about 85% done - as I recall) by
Pete Snowberg and Ernest Moore seems like a good avenue to
research for somebody to complete it and perhaps even put it into production. 
There's a fair amount of information about it on the ground ftp site also - if
anybody is really interested in reviewing it and what it could offer as a
coprocessor with enhancement abilities for use with the IIgs.  

I may even be able to still contact both Pete and Ernest about turning whatever
they have left of it all over to somebody that's really serious about taking
the project on for completion.  They both live near me.
