There's a trick to this.  I have a similar setup -- HD boots into P8,
and I have a GS/OS launch entry.  I'm not near my Apple II at the
moment though.

You have to do something indirect, like launch BASIC.SYSTEM and have a
BASIC program run the GS/OS SYS file.
