If your RAM is so bad that you cannot run GS/OS then use that as your
test.
Start twiddling chips until you get GS/OS working. I suppose some
knowledge
of the most likely chips to twiddle would speed things up. I have no
idea
about that. If some or all of the RAM resides on cards, perhaps you can
