Can I get on for three 14Mhz 65C02? Supertimer wrote me that that's what I'll
need to pump up a regular IIe Transwarp: "Though few users have done it, some
have posted remarkable sucesses. The Transwarp IIe is pretty easy to
accelerate. You'll need a faster oscillator, 4x the speed you want the CPU to
run. The hardest part of the upgrade is to replace all the RAM chips with
faster ones. I think the Transwarp IIe uses regular RAM, not SRAM, which is
harder to find at faster speeds, but the speed of these has improved
drastically, so such an upgrade should not be that hard." If any of the other
components are available through WDC, please let me know. I've been trying to
get this done for nine months now.
