Re: Applesoft Blue Book 1977/1978 revision differences?

I had a look at my Blue Book today and saw that I have the version of
the Apple Reference Manual dated Nov 1977. There are some differences
to the scanned 1978 version, which mainly relate to the change from
Applesoft to Applesoft II and the introduction of a firmware Version
of Applesoft (The oldest set of Applesoft Roms I have are dated
7825).

Differences:

In the Nov 1977 version the "Color Graphics" section following page 23
is much longer (12 pages instead of 3) and gives more details
including demo program listings to explain the color capabilities of
Applesoft. Owing to this longer chapter the 1977 version has 75 pages
instead of only 63 in the 1978 version.

There are minor differences in the "Reference Material" section.

In the Appendice A "Getting Applesoft Basic Up" there is no mention of
the firmware card in 1977.

In the 1977 version the conversion program from Applesoft to Applesoft
II is missing

Appendix K was added to the 1978 version.
