No, if you use a stand alone bridge product like a Asanteprint, or
FastPath no mac is required. If you have a extra mac around though, you
can use the software bridge product on it instead of a stand alone bridge.
AFAIK only the commercial software products and the FastPath will support
the TCP/IP, so you need to get the correct product for what you plan to
do.
