Re: ADT
Transferring the file via 300 baud should not be too hard. First
make sure that both computers are set to 300 baud.
On the Apple, type IN#2 (or whatever port your serial card is in)
This directs the Apple to accept input from the serial card.
On the PC you can use a couple of methods. The easiest for me was
using the Windows comm program. Using Notepad or a text editor,
copy the text to the copy buffer (select all + copy) then paste
the text into the terminal. If the Apple gives errors you may
have to adjust the line sending mode or turn it off.
The other method is to transfer the file via text transfer. It
will still need to be done at 300 baud. I have not used this
but it should work.
If you have a serial setup capable of transferring files you can
simply transfer the file to the Apple and exec it into memory.
This is technically the same as the serial port transfer. The ADT
program assumes their is no other method of transfer available.

Have you fed your Apple today?
Phoenyx's Pages are back online...
It seems the ZIP.TO link was down for a while.
It is now working again. This is the preferred
link to my site. You may also use the direct link.
