Re: Accessing floppies on II emulator

Well, for what it's worth. You can use the Oasis tools, SLINK to
read/write Apple II disks on a PC. You will need an Apple II, but
it's far better than trying to find those specialty boards and
certainly much cheaper.

The help files included in Oasis mentions how to do this, but to
recap. You use the slink driver on the real Apple II and the
client software in the Apple emulator. Set the software to link
the slot 6 devices and have fun. I have yet to try and copy nibble
disk images, but I think this may be the only way to restore them
back to a real Apple disk.

Have you fed your Apple today?

Phoenyx's Pages are back online...

I have setup a quick ZIPTO link which you guys
can use to branch to my pages no matter where
on the Internet they reside. Hopefully they
won't be relocated after I move them to our
new web host. So remember, don't link your
bookmarks to the actual web pages, just copy
the link below into the link location for the
bookmark you have setup in your favorite web
browser.
