memory tester

re
If it's memory on an Applied Engineering card, they had a very
good test program they released with their utilities. As for
testing the motherboard ram, I have not heard of one, but I would
expect the Apple Certified test disk might have this. Of course
many Apple II's had a built in self test which is what I use.

Yes, I used that test program.
Result: Initially it show most chips as XXX (unused-bad) and a few
chips black (ok), but at the end of test ALL chips arfe XXX (unused-bad)
which I dont believe. Sometimes thge test shows that the 1 meg card has
256k memory. I like to test all chips with a memory tester, if such a
tester exists.
