Flash-RAM in individual chips is quite cheap. Believe it or
not, the static RAM is over double the price of the Flash-RAM.
I could make the drive read-only but include a utility to burn a
disk image to Flash-RAM directly on the Apple II. I just
thought it would be cool to have a permanent writeable drive
that ran as fast as a RAM drive.
