Newbie: A2e to PC transfer problems

Help.

I'm having trouble getting the A2e to see and print characters on screen
using zlink (and others).

I have been able to transfer disks via ADT, I checked my cable and I believe
it's correct, I checked the switches on the SSC (where's that jumper
everyone talks about). I can send characters from the a2e to the PC (i.e.
they print), but not the other way.

I can see characters using IN#2, but not when I use zlink.

Must be something configured wrong.
