TransWarp & Zip GS upgrades

I'm polling the waters to see if I can generate enough interest to do a group
buy for 14MHz cpu's and other components from SHH Systemes to do TransWarp
upgrades.

The last time I brought in the 14MHz chips my cost came to $26US including
shipping. Keeping in mind that Western Design requires minimum orders of
$100US, this means I need to get at least 5 people together do do this.

Also for TWGS users, upgrading means also getting a 32k cache board and
a 1.8 EPROM, and perhaps even a cable replacement is also in order as well.

Here is the price list of components:

Of course there are shipping charges that will have to be calculated from SHH
Systemes, and then final shipping to the end user, so I figure no more than
$5.00 per order.

This is doable people. I'm willing to co-ordinate this, but will need serious
people who will commit to this. If I can get at least 5 people interested in
this, I'll start to set things in motion so I can get exact costs for everything
then I'll collect the money and start the orders. I can't afford to carry the
cost for anyone so only serious people required.

This is probably no minor undertaking on my part but I am sure I can do this. I
will at all times keep everyone posted either here or a mini-mailing list.

In fact while I'm at it, I'm also willing to do orders for SHH Systemes other
products too.

One of the above is an IDE controller, so you could also use it to replace a
Vulcan drive controller, and install a larger capacity IDE drive. As most GS
users are aware of, a hard drive is practically a must, and since SCSI cards
in general are hard to come by, especially since no one makes one anymore,
then IDE is the next best option.

is it? Give it some thought, after all you got to spend your tax return on something
