'Apple IIe card' on Mac LC III with a Mac-->VGA adapter

Hi!

I have set up the IIe-card on a LCIII wich install correctly under MacOS
7.5.  The Mac is connected to a PC-type SVGA monior using  a switchable
Mac-->VGA-adapter.

Current resolutions work OK when adapter is switched to 640 x 480 or 832x624
and operating in MacOS.

IIe-mode:
However when issuing the  'IIe startup' program the resulting Prodos-startup
screen does not fit into the screen area available, seems like the graphic
mode is not supported!

What type of resolution is required for the IIe mode.  Is it possible to use
some software-utility for the MacOS 7.5 to tweak into a working resolution
mode.

Any advice on this issue appreciated!
