I believe I read somewhere recently that you could run the TWGS without placing it in a slot. Is this true? I started thinking about this and got to thinking about moving the TWGS and freeing up a slot. The note also mentioned that one should attach power leads to the TWGS on the edge connector so it doesn't draw too much power form the CPU socket. Has anyone done this? Any thoughts on this?
