Re: Raised from the dead

Well, I ordered a Focus IIgs drive from Alltech and got a IIe version.
That was annoying. Well, the difference just had to do with the
software that came on it, but if I had not ordered a disk set of System
6.0.1 disks and had the hardware to network the my IIgs to my Mac, it
would have been quite a bit more of a pain. It took about 2 weeks to
get the drive as well, which I found also annoying.

That aside, the drive works well. Well, about one time out of three
when I reboot, the drive just sits there, and I have to cold start or do
all sorts of jumping to the monitor and trying 7-CTRL-P, etc. Dunno why
that happens. But I can get around it. If I used the IIgs much more it
would be more annoying. But for the price ($79 for a 540MB drive) it
ain't something you can scoff at.
