I realise this is in the vein of the "Apple IIe Question" message, but I need a question answered about an Apple IIe I got from my old school. I turn it on but there is no beep but the montior does display "Apple //e" and the disk drive runs continuously, even if there is an unformatted disk inside. Is there anything wrong, or do I only need a dsk to start up? Thanks in advance.
