On the subject of a good clean source for the latest ProDos-8 and
basic.system.
 
A must for all of us is, the system disk issued by Apple for the //e
and //c. It can be found on Apple's own site and many others. Look
for SYS402.8BIT.SHK . It's the last system disk they made. It contains
PRODOS ver. 2.0.3 and BASIC.SYSTEM ver 1.5 along with a bunch of
essential  disk utilities.
Sort of Prodos's equivalent of the old DOS 3.3 Master disk.  :-)
