No comparison.  MegaDemo surpasses what the FTA did and
IMO is more visually appealing than most of the Amiga demos
too.  Quite shocking actually when you consider the IIGS does
not have an animation coprocessor chip like the Amiga does.

Yes.  However, almost all 7Mhz TWGS can work at 8Mhz.
Just swap a 32Mhz oscillator in place of the 28Mhz one on
the card.  Make sure you put the oscillator in the right way.
The TWGS will then run at 8Mhz which should be fast
enough to run MegaDemo.  It looks better at 9Mhz, though,
so you may want a 36Mhz oscillator handy to test your
TWGS for 9Mhz.  Some of the old 7Mhz processors could
be overclocked 1 or 2 megahertz.

I have a 12.5Mhz TWGS and it runs.  ;-)

I'm pretty sure it runs at 8Mhz or 9Mhz from what I
remember trying some years ago.
