Mike et al;
Duh; I found some of my Apple manuals and upon checking the brochure that came
with the A+Disk I was able to create a bootable DOS 3.3 diskette [found some old
sssd soft sectored floppys from my Trash 80. Now my IIe boots up to a ] prompt
and runs most of the commands.
They had a nice program on the floppy "FID" so if I "BRUN FID" I get a nice
little file handler program. Where can I find some smaller floppys the second
drive attached to the first is a 3 1/5 [I think] but doesn't use the hard shell
kind. Now all I have to do is find a Hard drive and Card for this IIe. I still
have found the other Apple [it has a built in floppy] I have in the BM. And
somewhere are several floppys including the one that runs my Fairy IC Test
Interface card which is the reason I bought this Apple at this late date. Is
there a way to run a Modem from the Serial Card. There's one in the machine. I
have to find a serial printer as all I have are Parallel's. I have Kermit which I
can run from my XT or 386 or 486. I probably could get it to talk to my W95
machine as well. Does anyone have Kermit for the Apple.
Thank you for your kind assistance.
