Can anyone tell me whether or not an 80 column card is required for an
Applied Engineering Ramfactor card to function in an Apple II+.
The machine works fine otherwise, but garbage fills the screen and the
speaker ticks when the Ramfactor is inserted in slot 4 and the computer is
powered on.
The manual isn't clear as to whether or not an 80 column card is a
*hardware* requirement, or just for AppleWorks or other software.
