Better yes, but still not legal unfortunately.  There are lots of
legal ways to find out if a certain product is suitable for you or
not.  I mentioned a number of them in my last post and there is also,
user testimonials or reviews in magazines or on web sites.  There are
probably other ways too.

The big problem is that most people would rather not spend the time
and effort to find out whether a product is suitable for them or not
if they can download an illegal copy to "try" and then many of those
will continue to use the "trial" version because they can't be
bothered to spend the time and effort to get a legal copy.

Piracy is mostly an act of laziness as far as I can tell.  :-)

However, I can see times when bending the rules only makes sense.
Like software that is required to make hardware work.  I can't see why
a company would complain if someone who owns their hardware is using a
copy of the software that it requires.
