Hello,
first you are on the wrong newsgroup. This is a newsgroup which concern
apple ][ computers and not apple macintosh (which are both computers
from the same firm but are very different).
I imagine you're brother's mac is a performa 640 DOS compatible, if he
can't read CD on PC side it's just because he must start the performa
with an ISO-9660 CD (e.G PC CD) inside (the PC setup control panel needs
to see a PC CD when the mac starts up to enable CD read on the PC side).
personnaly I use a CD coming from internet providers (they usually have
two partitions : one HFS - mac- and one ISO 9660).
You should get the last version of PC compatibility software for this
computer (available on apple's ftp site)
