Disk Copy is a Mac program that copies disks, makes disk images and will turn
those disk images into floppies. It's free from Apple computer. The IIgs program
Clone will also turn those images into disks.

There's still quite a few members from back then still about, although most
have crossed over to the Mac side. Lorne Walton, Gareth Jones, Al Crout,
Don La Rose, amongst others

What I did was first try making a bit copy with CopyII+ then if the copy wouldn't
work I'd next try simply copying the files onto another disk.
I also used the utilities in prosel 16 extensively especially the volume repair.

I never tried refreshing an origional that was still working. If it wasn't working
then once I had everything saved, I'd try reformatting. If it reformatted and
verified then I'd use it. I don't know if that was a good idea but the data was
already backed up so why not?
Fortunately almost none of the club library was copy protected so that didn't enter
into it. I keep thinking about doing the same with my own personal software but
there's so much of it and it's scattered throughout my apartment and storage room.
The club library took me over 2 month durring which I spent a minimum of an hour
a day, some days I spent several hours. I'm still recovering.
