One word of caution. Never connect a cable to the 2c when it is
powered on. Especially from a source that is also powered on. I
fried my first 2c board by connecting a joystick to it. Luckily
it was due for the upgrade fix and Apple replaced it for free.
Later I was fooling around with my 2c and my Pc BBS and connected
my null modem to it and fried the serial ports on the 2c. The
rest of the board works fine, but no serial output. I have since
gotten a replacement motherboard but I learned a hard lesson.
I hope it's not to late for yours.
