The FTP client is called gwftp and as it is restricted distribution
freeware, it is only available for download from the A2 forum on
Delphi (requires a paid account) or on disk from Shareware Solution II
or Juiced.GS.  Apparently Shareware Solutions II has a two disk set of
internet software available for $5 US that has most, if not all, the
internet software currently available for the Apple IIgs.

The gwftp archive also comes with ping, finger and whois shell
commands.

SIS is the only web browser currently available but apparently there
is another in the works called Arachnid.  Check out this URL for a

As to other FTP options, there is FTP via certain e-mail servers.  Don
Elton recently posted about a server that he set up to do this.  Also,
if you have access to a shell account on an ISP or access to a Linux
box (or similar) that is connected to the internet you can use the FTP
functions available through them.

This isn't available yet.  I've been working on a program called
Internet Neighbourhood: The Mailbox or IN: The Mailbox but have been
running into constant delays as real life keeps getting in the way.
Because of this, I've given up trying to set a release date so don't
bother asking when it will be done.  :-)

I know that there are two other projects in the works one of which is
a set of scripts for use with Spectrum v2.2.  I have no information on
when or if either of these will ever be available.

By the way, don't forget about Spectrum v2.2 (telnet and more with
scripts), gsAIM (AOL Instant Messenger client) and the internet
support tool sets Tool56 (time tool) and Tool128 (hash tool).  More
