     ID of cards by parts number is an interesting idea; but, I do not know of
any site which maintains such a directory. One reason is that most Apple II
Slot cards and other peripherals were not made by Apple.

     You can make a ballpark guess about a card's function based upon it's
location. For example:

Slot 0 (in an early II or II+)-- Apple II Language Card

Slot 1-- Parallel printer interface card

Slot 2-- Serial interface card

Slot 4-- often used for Sound/speech cards

Slot 6-- 5.25" disk controller card


If you post the numbers there is a chance that someone will identify at least
some of the items.

     It may be easier (and, possibly, quicker) to compare your cards with
pictures of cards available on sites like ACN Tarnover, ACN Florida, and
Apple2.org, ...

     The name of a matching pic and, sometimes, the folder in which it is
found will tell you something about the card. You can, then, look for info
about it on the ACN sites, Apple II Textfiles site, Ground, ...
