There were add-on screen blankers for AppleWorks and a number of
programs
have built-in screen blankers but offhand I can't think of any screen
savers. There
probably isn't much if anything at all in this area due to the nature of
the beast.
While many on this newsgroup may have a fast IIe with hard drive and
extra
memory, that's actually far from the norm even nowadays. The normal IIe
is a
1mhz, 128k machine booting off a 143k floppy, lucky if it's got 2 floppy
drives.
To add a screen saver you'd likely have to preboot off the screen saver
disk then
either have a dedicated screen saver drive or keep the whole program and
routine
in memory.
Might be interesting if someone knows of one.
