Set you bit depth to 24 or 32 bit color. That seems to correct it on most of 
the systems out there. 8 bit color is a joke, and 16 bit color is actually 
slower than 24 or 32 bit on most systems.

I do all my XGS/32 development on my 400Mhz PII laptop.When we bought the 
thing, it came to almost $4000.00 (it has the maximum you can have on every 
possible option).

I always joke around about how I am slowly turning my nice laptop into a 
glorified nintendo.. :)
