True in the United States and Canada, but Apple IIGS units are
more rare elsewhere. There was one user in the UK who
emailed me with this problem. Having someone ship a dead
IIGS to the UK from the States is already going to cost more
than the price of a blank EPROM.

Some time ago, I took it upon myself to visit European web
sites that had classic computer data. Most either didn't know
what the IIGS was or had the wrong information about the
IIGS. And none had any info on the IIc Plus. However, one
web site in France now has it right because of the info I
provided, but sadly the Machine Room of the UK still does
not get it right. A site in Germany didn't have a IIGS entry
and all and claimed the IIe was the most advanced Apple II.

Those Tour messages for the IIGS and IIc Plus that I put out
were actual entries I wrote for the Machine Room that were
never implemented. Good thing I posted the files enough
times that a web search should yield the stored info on
DejaNews more often than the Machine Room website
which has the outdated and error riddled info.
