John, I feel for you! It hurts when you're all ready to get a system together and
you get stuck waiting for parts. I got really close to buying an Alltec drive and
changed my mind at the last minute when I found an Apple High Speed SCSI card
availble. Reading about the run around that you've gotten from Alltec makes me
happy that happened. I was still considering buying some other stuff from them, but
not any more. I think I'll stick to the more reliable used market. Boy does that
sound odd!
