Re: Ram Card Problem

I went ahead and swapped out half of the chips on the board with the chips from
my Apple board. I now require only a 384k ram disk instead of the previous 512k.
So, I managed to save an extra 128k of ram. The new setting creates a completely
unusable ram disk. Upon startup, it wants to be initialized or ejected, if I try
to initialize it, it wants to be initialized again etc. If I choose to eject it,
it goes away, and the system seems stable. While I was working on the card I went
ahead and reseated every chip on the board. I think it quite likely that this is
what made the change rather than the swapping out of chips, as I put the chips
that I removed on another empty Apple board, and it works fine.

I guess that this isn't a huge issue, but I'd like to have that 384k back.
