1M x 4 DRAM means it's a 1 mb by 4 bit Dram. It takes 8 bits of 1 mb RAM to
make up one actual mb. So therefore it takes two 1mb x 4 DRAM to make up 1 mb.

The site Rubywand listed still carries these chips
