Yes, you can network them (you'll need LocalTalk or PhoneNET connectors and
cables), but just connecting two Apple II's together won't accomplish much.  You
need to add an ImageWriter or LaserWriter printer (which could then be shared by
the two computers) and/or Macintosh (which could share its hard drive) to the
network before it would do you any good.  Yes, you need software for the
Workstation cards unless you have AppleShare Server 3.0.3 or earlier running on
the Macintosh, which will let you boot the Apple II's directly from the Mac's
hard drive.  If you need docs or software, just let me know.
