You might be able to use Advanced Disk Utilities to divide the
disk between ProDOS and HFS partitions even.  This way you
can use the same disk to move stuff between PC and IIGS
and make it bootable at the same time.  I don't think this
works with Macs, but I'm pretty confident about it working with
the PC.  I could be wrong, but I'm guessing it is right.  PC
units are more often partitioned than Mac units, so it makes
sense that software for PCs more often recognize partitioned
disks.

The HD20SC is very old and the Zip is new technology.  The
2GB SCSI drive should beat the Zip though.  I use a 1GB
model on my IIGS and it works like a charm.
